Stay strong enough for the life you built. Private, one-on-one programs backed by more than 25 years of clinical experience.
Years of clinical experience behind the program
Every session is private and one-on-one
Group classes, waiting rooms, or commutes across town
Delivered remotely, so the program travels when you do
Every program is private, one-on-one, and fully virtual from start to finish.
Three programs, one standard of care
Pulmonary care
Private, one-on-one conditioning for people living with COPD, asthma, or interstitial lung disease, built to rebuild breathing capacity and endurance so ordinary activity stops costing so much effort.
Cardiac care
A private, one-on-one program for people recovering from a cardiac event or managing an ongoing heart condition, structured to rebuild exercise tolerance at a pace your body can hold.
Weight management
A program that pairs realistic nutrition and activity changes with regular one-on-one sessions for as long as you want to work with us, built around habits you can keep for good.
Pulmonary care: The 5 Shifts To Better Breathing
What the program includes
Private, one-on-one sessions
Every session is live and private, built around your history and the goals you set at the start.
No waiting rooms, no commute
Sessions begin at the time they are booked. Your appointment costs you the length of the appointment.
A complete plan, equipment included
A personalized program built from your baseline and the things you want to be able to do again. The equipment is included.
Delivered wherever you are
Fully virtual over secure video, so the program continues from a second home, a hotel, or another country.
The complete program
For as long as you want to work with us.
Private pay only. This program is not billed to insurance or Medicare. No prior authorization, no visit caps, and no third party deciding when you are allowed to begin.
A 45-minute phone call to confirm fit. No obligation.
Fitness is the one thing on your calendar with no deadline attached. Nothing goes wrong the week you skip it. It goes wrong slowly, in the stairs you start taking one at a time, the walk you cut short, the trip you quietly decide against without ever saying why.
By the time it is obvious enough to act on, you are starting from further back than you are today. A few months from now you will either be stronger than you are right now or you will not. There is no third outcome.
It doesn't announce itself. It just happens.
The change is rarely dramatic. It is the flight of stairs you take a little slower. The back nine you skip. The trip you talk yourself out of because of the walking involved.
Most people file it under age and stop asking questions. Structured, supervised conditioning is one of the few areas of medicine where the evidence for reversing that narrowing is genuinely strong.
Tailored to your lifestyle. The life you are actually training for.
The research is not subtle.
lower risk of death from any cause among older adults who are regularly physically active vs. inactive. (Cohort study, published 2017)
Up to 50% lower fall-risk factors from regular moderate physical activity in older adults. (Systematic review, 2023)
28% lower risk of long-term mobility disability from a structured physical activity program vs. education alone. (LIFE study, randomized controlled trial)
Three steps. No guesswork.
Private consultation
A 45-minute private phone consultation. We review your history, your goals, and what you actually want to be able to do again. If the program is not the right fit, we will tell you on that call.
Baseline and plan
We’ll talk through your goals, like staying active and building healthier habits, and get you started with the standard routines and resources in the program.
One-on-one sessions
Private, one-on-one sessions on a schedule that works for you. Sessions focus on building sustainable habits for staying active and feeling your best.
This is not for everyone.
We would rather be direct now than waste your time later.
A good fit if
- You are active and fully intend to stay that way
- You have noticed your endurance quietly narrowing your choices
- You want a private, one-on-one program, not a group setting
- You travel often and need a program that travels with you
- You are comfortable investing in your health directly
Not a fit if
- You are looking for the lowest-cost option available
- You need this billed through an insurance plan
- You are seeking a diagnosis rather than conditioning
- You are facing an acute medical situation, in which case contact your physician or emergency services
Years of development. Twenty-five years of experience.
Steven Bloom has worked as a clinician for more than twenty-five years. He came to the field through his own experience with asthma, which began in childhood and shaped where he ended up.
He founded Bloom Medical Group after watching the same pattern repeat for years. People with every resource available to them were still being handed a photocopied packet and a slot in a group class across town, and most of them quietly stopped going.
This program is designed to support your overall lifestyle and wellbeing. It does not replace your medical care and is not a substitute for your physician’s clinical judgment.
Testimonials
The convenience of telehealth meant I actually stuck with the program. … Best decision I made for my lung health
Questions people ask first
Is this covered by insurance?
No. This is a private-pay program by design. That means no visit caps, no prior authorization, and no payer deciding how many sessions you get or when you are allowed to start.
Do I need a referral from my doctor?
No. If you would like us to coordinate with your Doctor, we are glad to do that with your written permission.
Where do the sessions take place?
Wherever you are. Sessions run live over secure video, so the program continues when you are at a second home or traveling abroad.
How long does the program run?
As long as you want to work with us. There is no fixed end date. For reference, the supervised programs examined in the research cited above generally ran for several weeks of consistent, structured training.
What actually happens on the consultation call?
We ask about your history, what you are currently able to do, and what you want to get back to. You will leave with a clear picture of the structure and the investment. There is no pressure to decide on the call.
Is this a replacement for my cardiologist or pulmonologist?
No. It works alongside their care, and we are happy to keep them informed of your progress with your permission.

Right to receive a Good Faith Estimate. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for items and services. You can ask for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule, and you will receive one in writing after you schedule. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. For questions or more information, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
